Team Holcim – PRB is still in the lead on Thursday, while the fleet is now less than 100 miles apart.

As expected yesterday, the leader is slowing down slightly and the chasers are making up some ground, but the overall situation has not changed much in the last 24 hours.

“We knew everyone was going to close in on us, so the only solution was to keep sailing as fast as possible,” said skipper Kevin Escoffier. “That’s why we chose to stay further south. I think if we still have a bit of a lead over the other boats, it’s because we made that choice, so I’m happy with the result.“
